We are pleased to announce that Open Badge Passport has a great new feature: you can now chat directly with your contacts*!
You can communicate by sending instant messages to your contacts and members of your spaces. You can also create groups by adding your contacts to them!
Instant messaging will be enabled automatically for all Open Badge Passport users. The classic green dot indicator will tell you if your contacts are online at a particular time.
If you do not wish to use instant messaging, you can disable the functionality from your dashboard at any time. If you disable the functionality, you cannot be contacted. A user who has disabled instant messaging is displayed in a transparent colour:
